The Drift Freediving FII Level 2 course (Pompano Fla) was fantastic; I highly recommend it. The instructor (Oliver Haroun) was extremely knowledgeable and great at conveying complex information. More importantly, he was an excellent freediver! Safety was the primary issue and Oliver was flexible with the open water schedule to ensure maximum safety. In addition, much of the course was focused on diving safely and providing proper and competent safety for other divers; these skills were drilled into students. Within reason, he allowed students to progress at their own rate but ensured that each ultimately mastered the various techniques. Jump on it if you ever have the opportunity to take this course (or the L1 course) with Drift Freediving.

I just took the Level 2 with Oliver and it was incredible. His laid back approach while maintaining a focus on details and safety was an integral part of my success in the class. Even with the tough conditions, Oliver found a way to make us all more knowledgeable and better freedivers!

Matthew was a fantastic instructor , he explained everything thoroughly and has the patience of a saint . I had trepidation about the class initially but he instilled both confidence and comfort during the class . I cannot say enough about his character , knowledge and professionalism, I wish more instructors were like him ,Thanks Matthew

There’s not much I can say other than wow. The content of the course was laid out and taught extremely well, the pool session was fantastic, and my instructor Matthew was respectful, fun, professional, and overall just awesome! I would highly recommend taking this course and if you do, try to get Matthew as a teacher. Great job guys!

I recently took the level 1 course with Austin. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and had no trouble explaining material in great depth. Austin provided great feedback on my form while diving and helped to greatly improve my technique. At the beginning of the class Austin asked what I wanted to get out of the course and helped tailor the material to help me reach my goal. Overall it was a great experience and a welcomed start to freediving.
